“My dad’s out of a job” – girl’s plea to Michelle Obama

BY POLITICAL REPORTER

President’s wife Michelle Obama was put on the spot yesterday – by a 10-year-old girl who handed her a CV for her out of work dad.

The youngster told Mrs Obama: “My dad’s been out of a job for three years and I wanted to give you his résumé.”

“Oh my goodness,” the First Lady responded.

Onlookers said Mrs Obama looked a little flustered but she then explained to the other children that the matter was “a little private, but she’s doing something for her dad.”

The President’s wife promised to deal with the matter later.
