Babe Ruth watch sells for $717k


A 14-CARAT gold watch presented to baseball legend Babe Ruth for helping the Yankees win the 1923 World Series has sold at auction in Manhattan for $717,000.

Cuomo gets tough with tax deadbeats


NEW YORK Governor Andrew Cuomo is getting tough with tax deadbeats.

Conman in Maxim swindle attempt

A CONVICTED stock swindler pretended to be his wealthy father as part of a scheme to trick millions of dollars out of investors who thought they were buying Maxim magazine, federal authorities in Manhattan announced.

Dumb Starbucks opens its ‘parody’ store


A NEW coffee store called Dumb Starbucks has opened its doors to the public in LA.

Woman stiffs driver after racking up $1000 cab fare


Cabdriver Adnan Chaudhury (left) says he was stiffed by Denise Rebelato, here in an online pic.

A WOMAN who hailed a yellow cab at JFK to take her 200 miles to her Boston home refused to pay the driver the $980 fare.
