Amtrak train takes wrong turn and ends up where it started

AN AMTRAK train heading from Philadelphia to New York City took a wrong turn – and somehow ended up going back to where it began from.

The 130 passengers on board the 644 from 30th St. Station to Penn Station were surprised to look out of the window to find they were heading back to exactly where they had boarded.

The driver reportedly missed a signal and ended up on the wrong tracks several miles into the trip.

Crew members realised their mistake only later as they started passing back through Philly’s suburbs.
