TV show The Simpsons pays tribute to much-loved Marcia Wallace

‘The Simpsons’ will honour the late actress Marcia Wallace, the voice behind teacher Edna Krabappel on the show.

Wallace, who died Friday at age 70, was the longtime voice of Edna Krabappel, Bart Simpson’s very unsentimental teacher.

This Sunday, US telly channel Fox will have a rerun of a much-loved 1992 episode called “Bart the Lover,” which featured Wallace’s character.
