Serial cat killer hunted by cops

A serial cat killer may be on the loose reports the New York Daily News.

Police in Putnam County, N.Y. are concerned that a string of four cat murders may have been committed by the same person.

The latest feline victim, a brown and black calico named Blackfoot, died Feb. 11after being found by its owner on Jan. 7 with a metal projectile embedded in its spine, NBC News reported.

“I believe the person called her over, then shot her in the back, then kicked her,” Blackfoot’s owner, Robert Kitts, told NBC.

While New Yorkers are used to dealing with almost anything while riding the subways, apparently a tiny mouse is too much. Based on the reactions caught on this rush-hour train, the NYC subway system had better invest in some mousetraps to keep its customers happy.
